Maya Moore's July wasn't necessarily a whole lot better than her June, statistically at least - she made small improvements here and there that added up to being among the few rookies whose VCR increased.

But that Moore led all rookies in scoring and steals and was second in rebounds and assists is telling: while most of the top rookies entering the month cooled off a bit, Moore remained consistent and arguably became more efficient.

A player to (continue) to watch: Danielle Robinson, who is having quite the rookie point guard season. The biggest improvements (by VCR): Danielle McCray and Jenna O'Hea.
