Lizzie Cambage was reprimanded today by the WNBA for the way she wears her shorts (tucked and rolled). She went on to tweet, "The league is just keeping a respectable look. So now I'm going @LisaLeslie style and rock those short shorts :)". The Tulsa Shock rookie isn't the only one that will have to adjust her uniform, as Minnesota's Charde Houston also got scolded for rolling her shorts.
The two exchanged tweets about their warnings, and Houston posted to Cambage, "oh Wow! When I saw it, I immediately thought of you. We are halfway through the season lol". The pair is definitely keeping it lighthearted, however, as they returned to another topic of conversation surrounding them both - hair. Cambage replied, "@CharHouston I know! At least they didn't tell us to grow our hair back hahaha".

OK Jessica, we are counting on you to get a video of Cambage and Houston
singing:

“Who wears short shorts
We wear short shorts
They’re such short shorts
We like short shorts
Who wears short shorts
We wear short shorts.”
To be serious
with a marketing expert like Richie here, well, I can bet you that image presentation of players will be high on league priorities, and players rolling up sleeves and shorts will not be something she’d like to see as it looks unprofessional.
She hasn't been to New York recently
because I’m sure Kia Vaughn and Kara Braxton would be receiving warnings too.
Make better fitting shorts, WNBA, just a thought.
I am the victim of a basketball jones.
Probably several players got warnings
Just not all of them retweeted about it.
I don’t think it looks that bad. Also, its not like Lizzie and Charde aren’t already wearing the best fitting shorts available. I get the point that the league doesn’t want a lot of deviation in appearance, but in a sport where people are running and jumping, cut them a little bit of slack on adjusting their shorts.

well what if you see the exact opposite problem?

McGee had some problems especially early in his career with his jersey getting untucked often…
