Tuesday Night Open Thread: Candace Parker's return to the Sparks on NBA TV

One big story tonight is probably going to be Maya Moore returning to Connecticut as a member of the Minnesota Lynx.

But the event with more significant playoff implications is Candace Parker's return to the L.A. Sparks tonight against the Atlanta Dream, which also makes the Seattle Storm's road game against the Phoenix Mercury significant - with a Sparks win and Storm loss tonight, the Sparks would be within striking distance of the playoffs with 11 games to play.

What: For all of their struggles this season, the Mystics can actually win the season series with the Liberty 3-1 with a win tonight. And little things mean a lot.

Who: Seattle Storm at Phoenix Mercury
When: 10 pm EDT on WNBA LiveAccess
What: Although the Storm have apparently had the Mercury's number in recent years, they haven't been particularly strong on the road this year and a loss to a conference rival tonight could hurt with Parker returning. With Parker's return, this game gains significance as well.
