There were definitely a lot of players that could have legitimately won this award this month, but both Minnesota Lynx forward Rebekkah Brunson and Connecticut Sun center Charles were certainly deserving.

That said, even without last night's monster performance, I would probably say Chicago Sky center Sylvia Fowles would be my choice in the Eastern Conference and I wouldn't sleep on Brunson's teammate Lindsay Whalen as a pretty strong MVP candidate either...
