"taking on the cellar-dwellers in the East, the Mystics"

the better headline is:

“The rising Mercury (9-4) look to give a knockout punch to the pitiful Mystics (2-9) early with former Mercury head coach Cheryl Miller cheering them on!

I hope Edwards' plan of letting Cambage play through foul trouble helps...

…it’s not conventional..and could backfire if Cambage comes out timid..

A strangely underwhelming offensive performance from the Mystics

How is it that the Mystics got a case of the miss-a-lot-of-not-too-hard-for-a-pro-layups-itis? Generally, they played strong defense and rebounded well but they could not take advantage of Phoenix turnovers or situations where Phoenix missed its shots for several consecutive possessions. As a consolation prize that Phoenix’s two prior opponents did not earn, the Mystics did keep the Phoenix point total way below 100. This is not bad since at three Phoenix players (Taurasi, Taylor, Dupree) have very strong cases that should be on the 2011 West All Star squad.
