As an interesting addendum to TAMU's 63-62 win over Stanford that will be covered later: I mentioned before that offensive rebounding percentage would be essential to TAMU pulling out a win against Stanford. After losing that battle 47%-30% in the first half, they changed it in the second half beating the long and athletic Cardinal 32%-27% on the offensive boards. I cannot tell you how they did that just yet (as Maya Moore is playing now and completely distorting my thinking) but I will say that holding Stanford to 3 second half o-boards and beating them 16-8 in second chance points is not simply a matter of missing Chiney Ogwumike for 4-5 minutes. That's pure heart on TAMU's part and tonight they outplayed Stanford when it counted, no "ifs", "ands" or "buts" about it.
