I don’t doubt that number, but the Big East ought to consider reducing their conference schedule to 7 games. Just play a one-game round robin with half the conference, use that to seed the conference tournament, and replace the remaining 8 games in the schedule with cupcakes and et ceterae. I would like to see just how many teams they could convince the selection committee to take.

I think the over/under would be at 12.5.
