Around SBN: Indy 500: 'Greatest Spectacle In Racing' Set For Sunday

With Cal's 68-66 loss to Washington State tonight, they have been shockingly swept by the Washington schools this season.

It's really difficult to call both of these games "upsets" after Cal lost to both of them previously on the road. But there's no way I thought even one team would come into Haas and beat them at home after already beating them on the road. And consider this: the last time Cal got swept by both Washington schools was the 1997-98 season. Given the expectations for these three teams this season and the history, at the very least the sweep in its entirety constitutes some sort of upset for the state of Washington.

California Golden Blogs had a game thread with more insight on tonight's game and norcalnick graciously commented on the state of the team despite deep hatred for the state I currently reside in.
