An advanced stats primer from Golden State of Mind
If you've been looking through WBBState.com this college season and wondering what all those crazy acronyms/numbers mean, EvanZ of SB Nation's Golden State Warriors site Golden State of Mind has put together a pretty solid advanced stats primer.
Yes, it's titled "...for the NBA." but the formulas people normally use for the WNBA are the same (even if you argue that the coefficients would be different for the WNBA/NCAA with further research). If there are numbers that we use on this site that aren't in the GSoM primer, chances are they're in our statistics glossary (permanently located in our "Statgeekery" section), which will soon have a link to EvanZ's primer as well.
Anything missing or confusing from that? Let us know and we'll update our glossary.

Any chance someone could point me toward a balanced (or, barring that, unbalanced) consideration of these points of view?
