Oklahoma State (8-1) lost their first game of the season in last night's Peppermill Holiday Classic finals, against Long Island in Reno, Nev. The contest went to the wire, where LIU hit a layup in the final seconds of play to secure the 64-63 win. This marks the Cowgirls final non-conference test of the season as they open up Big 12 conference play Jan. 4 at Texas Tech.
