To be fair on the college educated part
the reason why nearly all WNBA players have their degrees is because of these reasons.
1. Rules prevent players from leaving early, and even if they could there’s no true monetary incentive for most of them.
2. College coaches have so much more influence on their players than in men’s basketball and their words mean a lot more than their men’s counterparts when they demand classroom success.
Otherwise, it was a nice article to read, it does show that WNBA players are serious about what they want to after playing, and are thinking about that when they start out in the league, while many pro athletes however may not think about it until later.
