Around SBN: Indy 500: 'Greatest Spectacle In Racing' Set For Sunday

It's often the differentials in Four Factors stats that matter more than the numbers themselves.

In UConn's win over Stanford tonight that was certainly the case: Stanford made a lot of bad turnovers, giving the ball away on 21.3% of their possessions. But in a game where neither team shot above 40% from the field, the fact that UConn meanwhile only turned the ball over on 9.7% of their possessions is even more significant - it's hard to win games against top competition while turning the ball over more than twice as often. The worse part is that a number of the turnovers were poor decisions in the face of pressure, something that will likely not be lost on Stanford's future opponents (albeit a good learning opportunity for the Cardinal).
