Danielle Robinson was announced yesterday as one of the recipients of Today's Top VII Award, as noted on the San Antonio Silver Stars website yesterday. The NCAA Today’s Top VIII Award recognizes student-athletes who completed their athletic eligibility during the 2010-11 academic year for their success on the court, in the classroom and in the community. The honorees were selected by the NCAA Honors Committee, which is composed of athletics administrators at member institutions and nationally distinguished citizens who are former student-athletes. Robinson join University of Texas’ Sam Acho (football), University of Florida’s Kelsey Bruder(softball), University of New Haven’s Shannon Gagne (track & field), University of Alabama’s Kayla Hoffman (gymnastics), University of Mississippi’s Lee Ellis Moore (track & field), Amherst College’s Kendra Stern (swimming and diving) and University of Miami’s Brittany Viola (swimming and diving) as the 2010-11 Today’s Top VIII honorees.
