Tulsa Shock trades last Detroit player - Alexis Hornbuckle to Minnesota
Swish Appeal has learned from multiple sources that Alexis Hornbuckle has been traded to the Minnesota Lynx for Rashanda McCants. Hornbuckle was the last of the original Detroit Shock players left in Tulsa.

Well, presumably this was or became Richardson’s goal: to rid himself of all the Detroit players. (In fact, a recent Tweet from Kara Braxton proclaims such.) I think the name should be changed, though: the Tulsa Hock, perhaps? No wonder Katie Smith refused to come along for the ride.
(This leaves Deanna Nolan in an interesting position, since she is taking time off, but is still a designated core player. Oh, what a pipe dream: a new Bay Area franchise next season with Tweety and Ashley Walker in it!)
