Love the "what" on your set up there...

If you’re looking for another “what”, one I’m interested in is Sylvia Fowles: she ALWAYS plays better outside of a Sky uniform it seems…like unstoppable better…

I’m curious to see if some of the assertiveness we saw in yesterday’s game will show up today…

She’s been pretty unstoppable (and assertive) in a Sky uniform this season, though.

Oh, I'd agree...

I think there are multiple factors that go into her outstanding play for Team USA….

Yay Taj!

she’s being recognized for her 2500th rebound.
And Anne, for her 150th win.

by LJRotter on Jul 11, 2010 4:04 PM EDT reply actions

that's two layups that have rimmed out

one for Taj and one for Janel. I hope it doesn’t discourage them from driving to the basket.

Wow Fowles

Entering beast mode already in this game…

wow, another jumper for Cappie

she head-faked the crap out of that one. making her own plays because no one else seems capable right now.

by LJRotter on Jul 11, 2010 4:26 PM EDT reply actions

Yeah, I saw that

Big difference between yesterday (when she looked for others and played “QB” for a good portion of second half" and today.

Liberty can't guard, either

I’m guessing Big Syl has a lot to do with that, however. Her dominance spreads the court and allowed Perkins to have those wide open jumpers.

I really think that if she wanted to...

…she could play point and be very successful for this team…

In fact, she did a lot of that last year… and was an easy All-Star and really fringe MVP candidate…

by Nate Parham on Jul 11, 2010 5:21 PM EDT up reply actions

I agree

Not sure what the numbers say (I’ll lean on you for that, Q), but she looks confident out there as a primary ballhandler.

In fact, I thought she was playing some point for Galatasaray before she left this past offseason.

Point guard numbers are down this year..

Very good last year — like Cappie, ranked as one of the better lead ball handlers in the league

I think Dishin had on one of his earlier shows that she just doesn’t want to play point…
