You know, I think you just have to thank the fans. I think it's an awesome experience. I was definitely surprised by it being a rookie. I think it's just always making sure the fans happy and trying to keep their support throughout this league is really important to us. So to be able to experience that and really go play among the great players is going to be a lot of fun and I'm looking forward to it.

- San Antonio Silver Stars rookie Jayne Appel comments on her selection to the final returns of the 2010 "WNBA vs. USA Basketball: The Stars at the Sun" balloting prior to last night's loss in Seattle. Appel finished eighth in the league in the balloting.
