Around SBN: NFL Players Ready To Welcome Gay Teammate

An article from the Atlanta Journal-Constitution about how Connecticut's Maya Moore stays in touch with her church in Atlanta provides some interesting quotes about Moore's place - current and historic - in college basketball from Georgia Tech coach MaChelle Joseph and Atlanta Dream coach Marynell Meadors.

Joseph puts her up there with Teresa Edwards, Cheryl Miller and Lisa Leslie. "No doubt she’s on track to become the greatest player ever." (It was Joseph who provided the quote above.)

Meadors said, "She’s the great one coming out this year." Meadors, if you remember, was a coach on the United States FIBA gold medal team.
