Although I hate to admit it, but after 15 going on 16 years of being a true HUKIEMANIAC it truly is hard to brag!

This is what we, and the rest of the country have to look forward to for the 2010/2011 season!

Take a look at the new players who are coming to play at UConn next year. Lauren Engeln 5'11" Laguna Hills High School, CA Averaged 17.6 points, 10.7 rebounds, 2.8 assists and 3 steals per game as a junior. Has 1,499 points, 829 rebounds, 252 steels in her career. Michala Johnson 6'3" Montini High School, IL Suffered season-ending knee injury in season opener as a junior. Averaged 18.3 points, 11.6 rebounds, 3.9 blocks per game as a sophomore. Stefanie Dolson 6'5" Minisink Valley High School, NY Averaged 18.9 points, 14.6 rebounds, four blocks and three assists per game. She is the first player at Minisink Valley to score a 1,000 points as a sophomore. Bria Hartley 5'7" North Babylon High School, NY 1,373 career points, averaged 22.4 points, 5.5 steals and 5.3 assists per game in leading North Babylon to the Suffolk County Class AA semifinals last season. She was named the 2008-2009 Gatorade New York State Girls Basketball Player of the Year. Samarie Walker 6'1" Chaminade-Julienne H.S., OH Averaged 16.4 points, 10.2 rebounds and 3.5 assists per game as a junior. 1,006 points, 676 rebounds, 171 assists and 144 steals in her career.
